AIMS will be attending ISE 2023, from January 31 to February 3 in Barcelona. At ISE 2023, AIMS will be highlighting the increasing adoption of Internet Protocol Media Experience (IPMX) in the Pro AV market at ISE 2023! We hope to see you at our booth, 5J550, where visitors will see live demonstrations of IPMX-based hardware and software working seamlessly together.

Some highlights presented by AIMS members and IPMX collaborators will include HDCP running on IPMX, IPMX bridging to HDBaseT, and the capabilities and benefits of AMWA NMOS IS-04 and IS-05. IPMX simplifies the implementation of SMPTE ST 2110 and implements a standards-based approach based on SMPTE ST 2110, that targets the specific needs of the Pro AV Industry.

Samuel Recine, Chair, ProAV Working Groups at AIMS, noted that the market has begun to see an increase in IPMX adoptions, and this is only expected to increase in 2023. He goes on to say, “[At ISE] we’ll be kicking off the new year with our latest demos that highlight IPMX’s interoperability and high level of industry support. It’s going to be an amazing show and we can’t wait to see you there.”

In other news, AVNetwork has published “For IPMX, It’s About Time,” by Andrew Starks, discussing the goal of IPMX to deliver the performance that the Pro AV world needs. Installation has also recently published its “Special report: Networking pro audio standards,” mentioning the work AIMS and AMWA have done together to develop a network standard that is specific to the Pro AV sector.
