AIMS is again partnering with AES to bring the Media-over-IP Pavilion to AES New York 2023, being held Oct. 25-27 at the Javits Convention Center. The IP Showcase made its return to IBC2023 in a brand-new format: on the water. This year at IBC, the IP Showcase took place on a canal cruise boat comprising of six, one-hour cruises. Each cruise featured two, 20-minute sessions from top experts at the following companies: EBU, VRT, Sony, NVIDIA, ALC NetworX, Qvest, Nevion, DirectOut, Imagine Communications, Xcelux Design, Megapixel VR, and Barco.

All Hands on Deck for the IP Showcase at IBC2023
The IP Showcase will be making its return to IBC2023 — being held Sept. 15-18 at RAI Amsterdam — in a brand-new format: on the water. This year at IBC, the IP Showcase will take place on a canal cruise boat from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 17. The free, one-day event comprises six one-hour cruises.

AIMS Puts IPMX in the Spotlight at InfoComm 2023
InfoComm 2023 was a smashing success, and AIMS was there to host a live interoperability demonstration of the Internet Protocol Media Experience (IPMX™) standard. Several AIMS members including Barco, Macnica, Matrox, Megapixel-VR, and Plexus AV also provided their own demonstrations of a IPMX products at the show and gave 15-minute presentations on a variety of IPMX-related topics. Offered in a mini-theater in AIMS’ booth, seven different introductory, intermediate, and advanced sessions were available — covering everything from an introduction to IPMX to gateways between IPMX and other media protocols.

All Eyes on IPMX at InfoComm 2023
InfoComm 2023 will be taking place from June 14-16 in Orlando, Florida, and AIMS will be there to host a live interoperability demonstration of the Internet Protocol Media Experience (IPMX™) standard. Visitors to booth 4181 will see networking equipment and hardware and software nodes running both IPMX and SMPTE ST 2110, in addition to gateways between IPMX and other protocols, developer kits, and elements of IPMX-enabled AV-over-IP workflows.
