BOTHELL, Wash. — Feb. 12, 2026 — The Alliance for IP Media Solutions (AIMS), today announced that the Internet Protocol Media Experience (IPMXÔ) standard was recognized with Best of Show Awards at ISE 2026 within the AVTechnology and Systems Contractor News categories.
The Best of Show Awards distinguish and honor the brands behind the best new pro AV products and solutions on the market and on display at this year’s ISE show. Judged by a panel of industry experts and editorial teams, each award submission is reviewed on product feature set, ease of use, innovation, and uniqueness within the market.

IPMX is a set of open standards and specifications designed to extend SMPTE ST 2110–based media transport and AMWA NMOS–based control into a broader range of markets, including professional AV, live events, corporate media, education, and beyond. In addition to uncompressed workflows, IPMX introduces support for compressed video, simplified system timing, HDCP, and defined system profiles to make deployment more practical, scalable, and cost-effective for Pro AV environments. The certification program is designed to ensure predictable behavior, reliable interoperability, and adherence to the published IPMX test plans and specifications.
