AES67 Beyond the LAN

The presentation highlights challenges posed by moving from LAN to WAN with AES67 and ST2110. We will answer the following questions: “What is a WAN?”, “Why would I need AES67 on the WAN?” and “What performances should I expect?”. Best practices to deal with additional delay, transcontinental synchronisation and packet loss on the open Internet will be presented, allowing transmission of high quality synchronous and low latency (as much as possible) audio on Wide Area Networks.
