BOTHELL, Wash. — Aug. 18, 2023 — The Alliance for IP Media Solutions (AIMS), Advanced Media Workflow Association (AMWA), and the Video Services Forum (VSF), along with contributors Audio Engineering Society (AES), European Broadcasting Union (EBU), and SMPTE®, today announced the full IP Showcase on the Water presentation schedule taking place during IBC2023. The free, one-day event will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 17, on a canal cruise boat launching from the Strandzuid at the RAI in Amsterdam. Complimentary registration is now open to reserve a seat for any of the six one-hour cruises. Each cruise will accommodate up to 35 attendees and feature two 20-minute sessions from industry experts, for a total of 12 presentations on a wide range of IP-related topics.
The IP Showcase is committed to educating attendees at major industry events on the business and creative potential of IP media solutions. This year, presentations will be led by top speakers from EBU, VRT, Sony, NVIDIA, ALC NetworX, Qvest, Nevion, DirectOut, Imagine Communications, Xcelux Design, and Megapixel VR. The IP Showcase on the Water session topics include:
- Session 1 – Creating a Reliable Interoperable Eco-system: Testing & Proving ST 2110 Implementations
- Session 2 – Exploring NMOS: Discovery, Representation, and Control
- Session 3 – Keeping it Together: Timing & Synchronization With PTP
- Session 4 – Integrating & Coexisting ST 2110 With Other Technologies and Protocols
- Session 5 – Working With ST 2110: Deploy, Debug & Maintain
- Session 6 – IPMX: Enhancing ST 2110 for Cost-Effective Media Deployments
