Media Over IP for Live Events: From Screaming to Streaming!

With SMPTE 2110 making inroads into broadcast, an IP video revolution is coming to live events, whether we are ready for it or not. This talk will attempt to quantify the benefits and complexities of transitioning to IP from the perspective of a live production veteran. Can SMPTE 2110 and IPMX really solve our problems, or are they just another confusing pile of standards?
