With every major industry show cancelled, delayed, or presented in a virtual format, we’re seeing the industry’s need for ongoing education around IP workflows.
So, we recently teamed up with the Video Services Forum (VSF) to tackle this problem and find a way to provide ongoing access to the information, ideas, and real-world examples that can be so critical to planning and undertaking a successful shift to IP-based media workflows.
Together, AIMS and VSF are organizing a virtual course offering that leverages the preparation and member content contributions already in place for the 2020 NAB Show IP Showcase. These are invaluable educational resources and use cases, and we believe that the online courses will go a long way in helping media facilities to better understand and implement IP workflows.
I think we can all agree that there is no substitute for face-to-face learning and discussion, but we’re confident that this new online resource will offer much-needed guidance — particularly in the absence of traditional in-person events.
We are very excited to be launching this resource for professionals in the M&E and Pro AV markets, and we’ll be releasing further details in coming weeks!
