This presentation gives an insight on remote production projects using AES67 over WAN and even public Internet. What can be achieved and what has to be considered. Starting with a brief theoretical introduction on different setups for AoIP over WAN, Claudio than dives into real life projects that have successfully been conducted during the past months of Lockdown. Starting with Rick Camps remote mixing experiences, he will than take a closer look at how DirectOut collaborated with Remote Recording Networks for amazing life streaming events such as Wacken World Wide and 80 milliseconds around the world with Purple Schulz. And, of course, he will give the audience an outlook on how to “do” AoIP over WAN with just a standard internet connection introducing “ViViD”, the service that made the Lockdown Rock projects come to life.
